Prescription audit trail
Script Audit (or <CTRL + U>) displays an audit trail of all actions carried out on a script.
Drug Notes
Add custom notes to Generic and Brand drugs. It is displayed in a popup window during dispensing.
Configurable alerts for owing scripts
Show alert if patient has owing scripts older than pre-set amount of time.
Configurable Patient Price and PBS Recovery alerts
Show alert when dispensing expensive medication. Different thresholds can be configured for either Patient Price or PBS recovery amount.
Configurable History Note alert
Mandate that a History Note is created when cancelling a script.
Drug ranking on generic substitution
Drug ranking on generic substitution based on stock on hand and cost.
The Pricing Details screen allows you to quickly select a generic brand, based on profitability and available stock.
Enhanced Scan Check
Enhanced Scan Check checks that the dispensed drug details on the prescription label correspond with the item package selected.
Managed script deliveries
Address labels are printed on prescriptions that are intended for delivery.
Select label options at the end of a dispensing, or select a patient and press <CTRL + D> to display the Address Label dialog.

- What are the Support fees?
- Support fees will not change as a result of switching to Fred Dispense Plus.
- What will Fred Dispense Plus cost?
- Fred Dispense Plus will have the same cost as Fred Dispense. There is also a conversion fee of $500 ex GST.
- What is the process to call for support assistance?
- As per current customer service level agreements. See Support
- What is the wait time to receive a call back for support assistance?
- As per current customer service level agreements. See Support
- What if I need to have a packing program?
- You can continue to use Fred Pak. New patients need to be added using Fred Dispense and medications need to be added manually rather than chosen from the dispensed list.

- Yes, this will work the same as it does with Fred Dispense.
- Will stock on hand display in Fred Dispense Plus?
- Yes, this will work the same as it does with Fred Dispense.
- Will Fred Office be the same?
- Yes, everything in Fred Office will work exactly the same as it does today.
- Will my tills be the same?
- Yes, your tills will not change.
- Can I dispense OTC/Shop Items in Fred Dispense Plus? Will Question Mark dispense work?
- Yes, this will work the same as it does today.
- Will user feedback be reflected in the software?
- Yes, we have set up a specific feedback platform called UserVoice where you can make suggestions, vote for and discuss ideas to improve Fred Dispense Plus.

- Yes

- Can you schedule this upgrade outside my trading hours?
- Yes. This work is scheduled after hours in order to minimise disruption.
- What training will be available, and will I have direct access to a trainer for further assistance?
- Yes, access to a trainer will be available. We also recommend that you familiarise yourself with our Learning pathways
- How will my data be shared?
- Fred Dispense Plus is “cloud aware”, whereby data is replicated from the store to the cloud. The only parties that can access this cloud data are those that the store allows through the Third Party Integration system.
