PBS Status panel

Reference

You can check the status of your connection to PBS Online on the Main Dispense screen and the Wait screen.

The PBS panel always displays the following information:

• Your PBS Online Status (online or offline)
• Current Claim Period
• Errors/Not transmitted
• Rejected

PBS Messages and Status

The colour of the PBS Status panel indicates the status of your connection to PBS online.

Colour	Panel	Description
Green		There are no Errors/Not transmitted messages from PBS Online.
Orange		There is one or more scripts that have returned with a warning from PBS Online.
Red		There is either one or more scripts rejected by PBS Online.
		PBS is offline. Click the link to access the Medicare website and check the status of PBS Online.

If your connection is Offline due to your internet connection being down, scripts will be transmitted to PBS Online once your connection is re-established.
