Reconnect Fred NXT POS when offline

Troubleshooting

In the event of a network incident, you can continue to trade while offline. When network connection is returned, you must re-start Fred NXT POS to reset it to Online mode.

When Fred NXT POS is offline, the Waiting Scripts area displays no script. The message Cannot find POS Database. Contact your administrator or Connection to database offline are displayed in the Status bar (bottom right).

Reset Fred NXT POS to Online mode

1. Tap Manager Ops, then Database Status.
2. Tap Online to return the Fred NXT POS to Online and normal operations.
