Webstercare is an Australian leader in medication management, best known for its Webster-pak® system that organizes doses by day and time. For over 30 years, it has delivered solutions like RxMedChart™ and Unit Dose 7® to improve safety and efficiency in aged care.

The Webstercare integration for Fred Dispense Plus enables connectivity with the Webstercare software provided by Webstercare.

  • This integration does include a user interface within Fred Dispense Plus.
  • When enabled, Fred shares sensitive/commercial data with Webstercare automatically through the AppBar and Cloud APIs.

To request and/or authorise Fred to facilitate access to Fred Dispense Plus data:

  • Click on the Integrations cog in the bottom right hand corner of the screen in Fred Dispense Plus under the AppBar and then click Add/Remove.

Authorisation

The Webstercare for Fred Dispense Plus integration requires authorisation provided as follows:

  • Time period: Forever (until notified of end)
  • Data is: Personally Identifiable

After pharmacy authorisation, Fred provides credentials to the VENDOR, confirms integration, and notifies the Authorised Representative.

MedView Medication Management Baskets

MedView Medication Management Baskets are used as part of the Webstercare integration for queuing scripts to be dispensed.

Scope and Support

Webstercare handles deployment, configuration, and maintenance, with no extra setup needed in Fred Dispense Plus. Fred Help supports Fred Dispense Plus use and troubleshooting, while issues with third-party data should go to Webstercare Support
