Continued Supply
Manual Dispense
Continued Dispensing (CD) allows a pharmacist to supply eligible medication to a patient without a prescription. The pharmacist must be satisfied the patient is stabilised on the medication and meets the requirements for receiving the supply.
Before you start: The issuing pharmacist must have his/her AHPRA number stored to ensure a CD supply is completed and successfully claimed. Contact Fred Support if Fred Dispense Plus returns an error when dispensing. Visit the AHPRA Register of Practitioners to check your AHPRA number.

Dispense automatically prints the required documents: a repeat form and three copies of the Consumer Declaration and Prescriber Notification. One copy of the Declaration is kept by the pharmacy, another is given to the consumer and the third copy is for the prescriber.
