CTG scripts
Manual Dispense
Under the terms of Closing the Gap (CTG), general Indigenous patients are entitled to PBS scripts at the concession price. Indigenous patients with a pre-existing concession or repat status receive PBS scripts at the entitlement rate.
Health professionals can help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians access low cost or free PBS medicines. The Closing the Gap (CTG) Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) Co-payment reduces the cost of PBS medicines. Eligible patients can get their medicine at the concession price. Or, if they have a concession or health care card, their medicine will be free.
The CTG Co-payment reduces the cost of PBS General Schedule medicines only. Items under Section 100 special arrangements are not covered. Patients must be in the Services Australia national registration database. See Closing the Gap PBS Co-payment for health professionals on Services Australia website.
