There are three ways to create productss – AppCAT, Import a template using DIEF or create manually.

| Create Products from AppCAT | Quick, reliable bulk additions based on already available AppCAT data. | The vendor must be available in AppCAT |
This is the recommended way to create products in bulk. Ensure the vendor is subscribed to the AppCAT catalogue. |
| Create Products using Import Templates and the Data Import/Export Framework (DIEF) |
Good for bulk addition of products (with defaults data already set). |
Where AppCAT is not an option, this is the recommended way to create products in bulk. | |
| Manual product creation | You must edit each required product field manually. | Not recommended |
