Enhancements in the April 2018 Fred Dispense release
- Queensland pharmacies must enter the patient's date of birth for Schedule 8 drugs
- Single Narcotic Drug Report: Option for Tasmanian pharmacies to include or exclude notifiable drugs

Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday 1 April
For our customers in the Northern Territory, Queensland, and Western Australia: Fred support hours will shift back one hour from Sunday 1 April.
If your pharmacy is in a state that observes Daylight Savings Time, check that your computers have been adjusted back one hour after Sunday 1 April. Most computers will adjust automatically.

Reminder: Rounding Script Transactions
Since 1 January 2016, Fred Dispense has not allowed rounding for PBS or RPBS scripts.
Due to the transmission of actual contribution and the discount amount (where applicable), the rounding functionality in Fred Dispense was modified to prevent rounding for all PBS and RPBS scripts, in order to prevent potential rejection responses to PBS Online claims in the following instances:
- Patient contribution for claimable scripts are too low after rounding down.
- Patient contributions for Under Co-payment scripts are too high after rounding up
The Rounding Configuration screen is no longer accessible from Setup > NHS Fees. Any previously configured rounding rules are ignored for PBS/RPBS scripts.
Rounding can still be applied to Private scripts. For details, see Private Fees and Markups.
