Welcome to the April 2018 release of Fred Dispense.

Queensland pharmacies must enter the patient's date of birth for Schedule 8 drugs

If your pharmacy is in Queensland, when you select a Schedule 8 drug during dispensing, if the selected patient does not have a date of birth recorded, you are prompted to enter one.

You cannot complete the dispensing until a date of birth has been entered.

Single Narcotic Drug Report: Option for Tasmanian pharmacies to include or exclude notifiable drugs

If your pharmacy is in Tasmania, you now have the option to Include Notifiable Drugs in the Single Narcotic Drug Report (Reports > Script > Narcotic Script Report).

By default, these items are included.
