Private Fees and Markups
The Private Fees and Markups window is used to enter the fees and markups your pharmacy applies to privately-dispensed medications.
To open the Private Fees and Markups window, click the Setup menu, then click Private Fees.
The fees shown in this topic are for illustrative purposes only, and are subject to change.
By default, private fees and markups are applied for a wholesale cost range of $0.00 to $9999.99.
You can specify up to four wholesale cost ranges, to apply different private fees and markups based on items' wholesale costs.
In this example:
- Items with a wholesale cost under $50 get a $6.75 fee and a 1.75 (75%) markup.
- Items priced with a wholesale cost between $50 and $100 get a $5.95 fee and a 1.5 (50%) markup.
- Items with a wholesale cost between $100 and $200 get a $4.95 fee and a 1.25 (25%) markup
- Items with a wholesale cost of $200 or higher get a $4.95 fee and a 1.1 (10%) markup.
