Private Fees

Your pharmacy's default private pricing can be configured within the Private Fees form.

From the Setup menu, select Private Fees.

Default Private Fee and Markup based on Cost Price Ranges

Your pharmacy's default private fee and markup level based on the drug's cost price can be set in this section.  Multiple cost price ranges can be entered. These default fees and markups will be used to populate the patient price in the dispense screen, unless a particular drug has a specific private price set for it within the Drug form.

The Cost From value for the first range must begin with $0.00 and the Cost To value for the last range must be $99,999,999.99.

Click in the fields under each Cost From, Cost To, Fee, and Markup column headings to enter values.

To remove a range, click on the red cross.

Fee and Markup Override Numbers

The Fee and Markup Override Numbers allow the dispenser to quickly change the patient price of a private script while dispensing. In addition, fee and markup override numbers can be set for specific drugs, patients and facilities.

If multiple levels apply to a particular script, the priority is Patient, Drug and then Facility.

Click in the Fee or Markup fields to edit them.

When dispensing a private script, within the Pricing Details window, press Tab to move the cursor to the Fee field, then enter the number next to the fee you want to apply. Then press Tab to move the cursor to the Markup field and enter the number next to the markup you want to apply.

From the Lists menu, select Drugs. Search and select the drug you want to update.

From the Patient Maintenance window, go to Extra Details.

From the Lists menu, select Facilities. Search for and select the Facility you want to update.
