Emergency access to MyHR

MyHR

In a medical emergency, you can override any restrictions which a patient has applied to their My Health Record. This access is recorded and may be audited. The patient is also notified. Emergency Access bypasses the requirement to provide an access code.

Emergency Access to MyHR

1. From the Main Dispense screen, click MyHR .
2. At the prompt, select Emergency Access.

   

3. In the Condition of Emergency Access message, enter Yes to gain access to the patient's Health Record without the access code.
