Troubleshooting
If you are experiencing difficulties with printing, try these troubleshooting tips in the listed order. If these procedures do not resolve your issue, contact Access support via your Fred Help Portal .

This process can be performed on any printer.
- Turn the printer off at the power switch.
- Remove power and data cables.
- Turn the power switch on and off several times.
- Replace the cables and turn the printer back on.

ZEBRA printers only. Only use this procedure if label printing is out by MORE than 1- 2cm and all offsets are set to zero.
- Do one of the following:
- Reset to factory defaults: Hold the feed button till the light flashes 4 times.
— or —
- Standard auto media calibration: Hold the feed button until the light flashes twice.
- Reset to factory defaults: Hold the feed button till the light flashes 4 times.
- Turn the printer off using the power switch at the back.
- Hold down the green button (Feed button) on the front and turn the printer on.
- When the lights start flashing, wait until the light turns green and then release the feed button.
- The printer will then proceed to print a set of configuration settings.
The last line should read Now in dump or In dump.
- Press the green button (Feed button) on the front of the printer once and the next line should read Out of dump.
- Turn the printer OFF and ON and print a test label.

Spooler controls all of windows printing.
- Find This Computer/This PC icon, then right-click and select manage. (location will depend on PC – use Find).
- Right-click Computer/This PC, then select Manage.
- Expand Services and Applications (in the Computer Management tree, on the left side) and double-click Services (right).
- Scroll down to the Print Spooler and click it once, then click Stop the service (left).
- When the service has stopped, click the Start the service once.
- Try printing again.
If the printer does not respond, re-start both the computer and the printer.

If the incorrect paper type comes of out of the KYOCERA Laser printer, check if the winder dials at the front of the paper trays are adjusted correctly. When facing the printer, check the window on the left side of the paper cartridge.
