PharmX Staging grid

The PharmX staging grid can now be accessed from FredNXT Head Office > PharmX.

This grid displays all the unmatched PharmX staging lines for all the stores in the group to facilitate the line matching and line creation process.

Movement journal - Update SOH items with $0.00 cost post-converstion

When a new store is created by converting a legacy system to Fred NXT, all lines with positive SOH and $0.00 cost are collated in a Movement journal.

From this journal, you can review each line and Update zero cost items with last invoiced cost. The cost for any products with zero cost in the journal is updated with the last invoiced cost from released products.

Alternatively, you can select to Update zero cost items with Trade agreement cost. The cost for any products with zero cost in the journal is updated with the cost from the currently effective Purchase trade agreement for the primary vendor for the product at the store.

POS - Prevent accidental scanning of barcodes as Qty

To prevent barcodes from being scanned as the quantity for a sales transaction accidentally, set the Maximum quantity to 99999.00 on the Functionality profile.

Most groups will only have a single Functionality profile called STD.

  1. Go to FredNXT Head office > Organisations > Setup > POS > Profiles > Functionality profiles.
  2. In the STD Functionality Profile, set Maximum quantity to 99999.00, then Close.

This setting is enabled by a Batch Job running overnight.

  3. Scan a product at the POS.

If the Qty set or scanned is greater than 5-digits, POS displays an Error message.

  4. Correct the Qty to a 5-digits or less number, then finalise the transaction.
