Suspend and recall a transaction

You may need to suspend a transaction if the customer is not ready to continue with the sale, or to allow another user to access Fred NXT POS.

Suspend a transaction

1. From within Fred NXT POS at the transaction screen.
2. Tap the Edit Trans tile.
3. Tap the Suspend Transaction tile.
4. At the prompt Do you want to suspend the transaction?, tap Yes.

   The transaction is now suspended (on hold) and Fred NXT POS returns to the main transaction screen.

Recall a transaction

1. Log on to Fred NXT POS using your preferred method.
2. Tap the Edit Trans tile.
3. Tap the Recall Transaction tile.

   A list of all transactions on hold (suspended transactions) is displayed.

4. Tap to select the transaction to be recalled.

   When the transaction is highlighted, the products on the suspended transaction are displayed.

5. Tap the Recall tile.

   The suspended transaction has been recalled and is now displayed on the transaction screen.

6. Continue with the transaction as per normal process.
