DD-Book

Modeus

DD-Book is an electronic controlled drug register integration created by Modeus (formerly named Methsof). The integrations solution allows data from dispense system to flow to DD-Book to eliminate double entry, improve efficiency and increase compliance. DD-Book v3.3.0.0 (and forward) support Fred NXT integration. To request and/or authorise Fred to facilitate access to Fred NXT data navigate to https://fred.au/sda and complete the online form.

The integration uses multiple methods to function, App Plugin and AppBar:

• App Plugin
  • The plugin is installed by Modeus resources.
  • Once installed, information associated with completed scripts is provided by Fred NXT to the integration without any user actions.
• AppBar
  • The app is added by the user via AppBar Manager.
  • The app requires configuration values provided by Modeus to function.
  • Enables within Fred NXT access to, via tile click, DDBook Cloud.
  • Displays Pending Supply counts.

Authorisation

The DD-Book integration requires authorisation provided as follows:

• Time period: Forever (until notified of end).
• Data is: Personally identifiable.

Support Contact Points

Modeus resources are responsible for the installation and configuration of the integration. No additional Fred NXT configuration is required from Fred for this integration to function.

Upon authorisation from the pharmacy being received and validated, Fred notifies Modeus that the integration is ready to proceed. Configuration capabilities and/or options will be handled by Modeus.

The Access support via your Fred Help Portal team are available to provide mutual customers with assistance that relates to Fred NXT operational use, including any troubleshooting associated with the integration methods provided by Fred. This does not extend to a third party handling of and/or receipt of data provided by the integration methods, which should be raised with the Support Contact Points (see below).
