Auto-create an account for a nursing home patient

From the Nursing Homes screen, you can view all the nursing homes set up in Fred Dispense. While the Nursing Home information is not editable, you can configure Fred Office Plus to automatically-create an account whena patient isadded to a Nursing Home.

Set up account auto-create for a Nursing Home patient

This feature only applies if the patient not does already have an account of the same type. 

  1. Select Contacts > Nursing Homes.
  2. Search for and open the relevant Nursing Home.
  3. From the Nursing Home screen, click the Accounts tab.

  4. Select Add and set the Charge Type and the Account Type to Personal from the dropdown menus.

  5. Select Auto Create Nursing Home Account.

  6. Select Save and Close.

Script Processing Rules are configured during your installation and determine how scripts are processed when they appear in Fred Office Plus.  Due to the complexity of how these rules work, we recommend contacting Access helpdesk support via your Fred Help Portal if you want to change script processing and auto charge options.

At the time of adding your patient to the Nursing Home in Fred Dispense it is important that you remember to set them for Auto Charge if this is your preferred method
