Additional Community Supply Support (ACSS) payment
This release adds support for the Additional Community Supply Support (ACSS) payment claiming in preparation for 1 July when the ACSS payment will be made as part of your regular PBS Claim.
The ACSS payments have two components:
-
A payment of $4.79 (in 2024-25) for each supply of a Commonwealth subsidised PBS or RPBS prescription of a section 85 medicine with increased dispensing quantities by an approved pharmacist, when supplied at the full maximum dispensing quantity; and
-
A payment of $0.78 (in 2024-25) for each supply of a Commonwealth subsidised PBS or RPBS prescription of a section 85 medicine dispensed by an approved pharmacist.
From 1 July 2025, ACSS payments will be automated via PBS online. Further information, see New payments under the Eighth Community Pharmacy Agreement on the PBS website.
For scripts that are anticipated to attract the ACSS payments, the Coding Sticker tile at the wait screen will display the amount next to the ACSS1 and ACSS2 labels.
