NostraData for Fred Dispense Plus is a data extraction solution created by NostraData using integration methods provided for Fred Dispense Plus. The integration enables de-identified data within Fred Dispense Plus to be collected by NostraData enabling business intelligence reporting, analytics and programs. The integration may be required based on a pharmacy’s agreement with other parties or with NostraData directly.
- This integration does not include a user facing interface within Fred Dispense Plus.
- The integration does not require on premise installation of software.
- When enabled, information is made available by Fred Dispense Plus to NostraData without any user actions.

Information provided by NostraData
NostraData is committed to protecting privacy. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and, in particular, by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), which set out the standards required by law for collecting, managing and disclosing personal information. The key items of note are:
NostraData collects data about the purchases of customers of our member pharmacies and reports that information to our member pharmacies and other clients. This information helps our clients to understand the markets in which they operate.
Although we collect a lot of information about individuals, and in particular, about the medications and other items that customers purchase from pharmacies, we go to great lengths to ensure that the information that we collect is both deidentified, and not reidentifiable. Because we only collect deidentified, non-reidentifiable information, our clients cannot use the information we provide to identify anyone either.
Support and Scope
NostraData resources are responsible for processes required for initial configuration and ongoing maintenance required to collect data. No additional Fred Dispense Plus configuration is required from Fred for this integration to function.
Upon authorisation from the pharmacy being received and validated, Fred notifies NostraData that the integration is ready to proceed and provides credentials that facilitate store data access. Customers receive a notification to advise of completion by Fred.
The Fred Help team are available to provide mutual customers with assistance that relates to Fred Dispense Plus operations use, including any troubleshooting associated with the integration methods provided by Fred. This does not extend to third party handling of and/or receipt of data provided by the integration methods, which should be raised with the NostraData Support Contact Points (see below).
