MedView Flow provides pharmacists with a workflow tool to manage both electronic (SMS, email or mobile app) and paper prescriptions seamlessly. MedView Flow also provides pharmacists with a place to view the original legal document for paperless prescriptions.

Site layout and hardware requirements

In order to facilitate the process of receiving electronic scripts, you should think carefully about your hardware requirements. This will allow you to set up the combination of static PC, scanner and tablet that best suits your pharmacy.

You can run MedView Flow on your dispense station in different ways. It is recommended to adopt a 2-screens setup, so that you can view the ePrescription information while dispensing.

Site-level account for MedView

Individual users cannot log into the MedView Dashboard. You need to use a site-level account that is shared by everyone at your site. Once your site is logged in, your staff can automatically access any MedView apps that also use a site-level account. For example, MedView Paperless.

Pharmacy Group Stores

If your user accounts are managed by your pharmacy group, rather than by MedView, you need to perform a few extra steps the first time you log your 'site user' into the MedView Dashboard.

Enable Cookies

Third-Party Cookies need to be enabled in your browser in order to access MedView.

Configure Terminal Settings

In order to send the prescription from MedView Flow to the correct dispense terminal, you must configure the terminal settings.
