Merge products

The Item Merge Wizard enables you to merge duplicate items.

Once a merge is confirmed and completed it cannot be undone.

  1. Log into Fred Office Plus and select Inventory.
  2. Search for one of the products you want to merge (the stock card with the details you want to keep).
  3. Open the stock card, click Tools and select Merge.

  4. Using the description of the item you selected search for the stock card you want to merge into this stock card.
  5. Once item has been found, highlight it and press Select and Next.
  6. Select the item whose details you want to keep and press Next.
  7. Review the pricing of each item and select the details you want to keep and press Next.
  8. Select the appropriate Stock Level information and press Next.

  9. Select the appropriate Alias information and press Next.
  10. If conflicting supplier reorder codes exist you will be asked to select the correct option. Once done press Next.
  11. Confirm whether you want to process the Merge now, or Overnight.
  12. Press Finish.
  13. Press Yes to confirm merge.

Once a merge is confirmed and completed it cannot be undone.
