Item messages

Item messages prompt the cashier at the point of sale. They can be used as a reminder the cashier of companion selling, current promotions or gift with purchase.

Create an Item Message

  1. Select Tools, then Items, then Options.

  2. Select Messages.

  3. Type in the message and click Add.

    There is a 60-character limit

  4. Continue to add messages as required.

  5. Click Apply and OK.

Apply Item Message to an Item Card

  1. Select Inventory.

  2. Search for Item Card.

  3. Open Item Card.

  4. Open the Options tab and search for Item Message from List.

  5. Click Save and Close to apply.

  1. Highlight a range of items, right click and select Perform Quick Action.

  2. Cliclk the + next to Classification & Options and select Add a Message to these items.

  3. Click Next.

  4. Select Message from list and click Next.

  5. Confirm the changes.

  6. Click Next to apply.

  7. Then click Finish to finalise.
