Intercode substitution for Glatiramer pen device and syringe

As denoted in the PBS schedule :

Pharmaceutical benefits that have the form glatiramer acetate 40 mg/mL syringes and pharmaceutical benefits that have the form glatiramer acetate 40 mg/mL pen devices are equivalent for the purposes of substitution.

Due to the complexity of achieving the accurate DPMQ across all brands as well as applicable BPP, substitution between the following PBS item codes will no longer be available in Fred Dispense via the usual GS shortcut from 1st June 2023:

13110B and 10416F

Instead, search for and select the brand required when dispensing under these PBS codes.

Dispense ePrescription repeats from Repeats Remaining screen

You can now dispense repeats of ePrescriptions from Repeats Remaining (F3). The ePrescriptions are identified on the Repeats Remaining screen with a small "e".

To dispense, select the script and press Enter.

Pack Size Changes to Ordine 1mg/mL

Due to feedback received from pharmacists, the pack size of Ordine 1mg/mL oral solution has been updated to allow pharmacists to dispense volumes smaller than a whole bottle.

Changes to ORDINE 1 O-SOLN 1mg/mL
Current Amendments from 1 June 2023
Name, Form and Strength ORDINE 1 O-SOLN 1mg/mL, 200mL ORDINE 1 O-SOLN 1mg/mL
Pack Size 1 200

FRED advises that scripts submitted prior to 1 June 2023 should not be edited if possible due to unknown flow on effects to POS, DD Book and reports.
