APP2022 - How can you continue to provide professional service to the digital pharmacy consumer?
If you missed APP2022 be sure to watch this session where Fred pharmacists Paul Naismith and Regina Cowie explore how you can connect with the digital patient.
Introducing live chat – coming soon in 2022
Coming soon in 2022, a new module will be launched in MedView Flow allowing patients to connect with you via live chat. Patients will be able to use WhatsApp, MedView Patient Connect or a website to initiate a chat which will appear in your dispensary queue. Pharmacists can then look up the patient’s dispensing history at their pharmacy and provide suitable health advice - all in real time.
See how a patient can send a paper script with MedView Chat via WhatsApp.
NT Script and Fred Dispense for NT Pharmacies
The NT’s real time prescription monitoring system, NT Script, is available from 1st of March 2022. It provides eligible health practitioners information that may assist with clinical decisions on the safe and effective use of monitored medicines. For more information, refer to the NT Script website .
Get Started with NT Script
When you receive your invitation email, click the link to register. Alternatively, you can register from the NT Script website.
Once the registration process is complete, activate Real Time Prescription Monitoring (RTPM) in Fred Dispense.
-
Select Setup > eHealth Configuration > RTPM Configuration.
-
Select the Activate Real Time Prescription Monitoring checkbox.
-
Click Save.
-
When you dispense certain medicines—for example, S8 medicines—you may be prompted to enter the patient's Date of Birth. If the selected patient’s date of birth is already recorded, you will not be prompted. See Providing Date of Birth when Dispensing S8 Drugs for details.
-
You will see a notification when you navigate to the Pharmacist initials field. See RTPM notifications when dispensing.
For more information, refer to Real Time Prescription Monitoring (RTPM) and Fred Dispense.
National Customer Experience Survey 2022 (Coming Soon!)
Towards the end of May, we will be launching the National Customer Experience Survey 2022. We would greatly appreciate your participation to help us understand how we can improve and where we are getting things right. We also want to continue delivering changes to our products and services based on your feedback. Your invitation to participate in the survey will hit your inbox before the end of May.
