Everolimus Substitution
Pharmacists are advised to exercise caution when substituting between brands of everolimus or dispensing outside repeats. Not all brands of everolimus are approved for all PBS item numbers.
Redesigned Safety Net functionality
To enable more accurate Safety Net Threshold calculations and better system performance, the Modify Safety Net window now allows you to capture additional information about a patient's scripts from outside your pharmacy.
You can now enter two separate script counts:
- Scripts priced at $6.40 or more
- Discounted, Concession, and other scripts priced below $6.40

New Drug Warning for Drug Priced at $110,000.00
The 1 June 2018 drug file introduces a drug with a price of $110,000.00 (Spinraza VL 12mg/5mL). As Fred Dispense cannot display a price this long, the price will display as "*****.*" on screen and in some reports.
When you select this drug during dispensing, the following information displays in the Drug Details and Warnings boxes:
High Cost $110000.00 (June2018)
