Reporting Patient Allergies or Conditions

Patients with particular allergies or conditions can be reported on by generating a Patient Mailing List Report.

In order to filter the report to particular allergies the allergies code number is required. This code number is a unique number allocated by Fred Dispense to allergies and conditions; the codes are consistent to all pharmacies using Fred Dispense. The code number for a particular allergy or condition can be looked up via Lists > Interaction Groups.

Click Find to look for a particular allergy or condition within the Interaction Groups list. Use the <Down Arrow> or mouse to scroll through the list. Alternatively start typing the word to move directly to the item.

Take note of the numbers associated with the allergy or condition you want to report on. In this example we will be reporting on Asthmatic and Smoking so the codes 500 and 113 will be needed.

Generate a report

  1. Select Activities > Mailing Labels.
  2. Enter R for Report of Patients in the Process Command field.
  3. In the Patient Mailing List Processing screen enter the Optional Criteria to filter the report so that only patients with a particular allergy are shown.

  4. Tab through all the other fields.
  5. At the following prompt, click Yes.
