Change your My Health Record Access Password

When each pharmacist is set up in Fred Dispense to access patients' My Health Records, a temporary password is generated. The first time the pharmacist accesses the My Health Record functionality, they are prompted to set a new password.

  1. From the Lists menu, select Pharmacists; or press [Alt+L] then [P].
The Pharmacist Details window is displayed.
  2. Use the Find, Next or Previous buttons to bring up your user record.
  3. Click Change Password.
The Change Password window is displayed.
  4. Enter your Existing Password.

If this is the first time you are setting up your password, enter your temporary password here. It is not case-sensitive. Note that pasting will not work; it must be typed.

  5. Enter a new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.

    Your password is case-sensitive.

  6. Select one of the Security Questions, then enter the Security Answer.
The security question is used to help you reset your password if you forget it.
  7. Click Ok to return to the Pharmacist Details window.
  8. Click Save.

You are allowed three attempts when setting up a password. After three failed attempts, Fred Dispense automatically resets your password to a new temporary password.
