Start or Restart Fred Connect

The Fred Connect program communicates between Fred Dispense and various other programs, including PBS Online.

When the Fred Connect program is running, a Fred Connect icon is visible in the system tray.

To start Fred Connect

• Double click on the Fred Connect icon found on the desktop.

  

Alternatively, you can find it by typing on the Windows Search Bar (Cortana).

To restart Fred Connect

1. Right click on the Fred Connect icon found in the system tray.

2. Click Stop.

   

3. Double click on the Fred Connect Icon found on the desktop or in the Windows Start Menu. As the Fred Connect program is loading the icon in the system tray will be red.

   

   Once the Fred Connect program has loaded the icon in the system tray will be blue.
