List a Private Product in the Fred Drug Database

Private or non-PBS drugs are drugs that have been approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for supply in Australia, but are not subsidised by the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) or the Repatriation Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (RPBS).
Fred Dispense has provision for pharmacies to create product cards for unlisted products, including unlisted private items using the Lists > Own Brand Drugs menu item. New drug additions to the Fred Drug Database must fulfil certain criteria to ensure full data and safety requirements are available when dispensing.
