Enter a Hospital Provider Number

On the Dispensing screen, you can enter a Hospital Provider Number, which will be written to the claim file when the claim is generated.

1. During dispensing, when the cursor is in the Doctor field, press [Tab].

   The Hospital Prov. No. field can only be accessed in this way, and is not affected by the "Move to Every Field" dispense option.

   The Hospital Prov. No. field is not displayed if the Script Type is set to Doctor's Bag, Schedule Three, or Private.

2. Enter the required Hospital provider Number. Fred Dispense does not allow you to enter an invalid Hospital Provider Number.

3. Continue to dispense as normal. When you reach the Pharmacist Initials field, the Hospital Provider Number you entered is displayed in the Script Dispensings box on the right side of the screen.
