Sort, Filter, Add Products

Reference

These controls are available throughout Fred NXT Office to assist with sorting, filtering and adding data in the various grids.

Sort

To sort columns in the grid click the column header

Tap once to sort in ascending order.
Tap again to sort in descending order.

The sorted column displays with to denote Ascending or for Descending.

Filter

Click (located in the right of the column header) to open to select additional filters.

Filter by Value

To filter by value, select a specific value in the list or Select All.

Filter by search

Use the search field. This is a "contains" search.

Date Search: dd-mm-yyyy

Search by Name/Description

Filter by Condition

Use the relevant operator: Equals, Is Before and Is After

For example: Filter for Promotions with an End Date of the Month of March 2018.

Add Products

There are four ways to add products:

Add by Product

Search for the Product(s) by name.

This a "contains" search.

You can perform multiple searches and add products as you search.

When adding products to a draft or a label queue, the Product Selection dialog displays all products, including products set to Do Not Order. These products are clearly identified with a flag . A tooltip is also displayed.

When Add Product is invoked from a Stocktake grid, additional filters are displayed:

Negative Stock Only: When set to Yes, the product search only returns products with negative SOH.
Product Counted prior <Date> : This filter is used to identify products that may have been missed in a prior batch count.

Add by Hierarchy

By default, this option is set to the Main (global) retail hierarchy.

If applicable, change Hierarchy to your local hierarchy or supplemental hierarchy.
In Categories, expand the nodes.
Select as many Categories as required.
User the Filter to search for a Category by name.

Add by Vendor

Select the vendor from the list.
Search for products by name or tap Search to retrieve a full list of product available from a vendor.
When manually adding Products and a Vendor is selected, the product search only retrieves the products for which the selected vendor is the Primary vendor.
