Release Notes

New in Fred Dispense Plus

Fred Dispense Plus automatically applies both software and drug updates. No user intervention is required, but please ensure that your server PC is always switched on as automatic updates are applied outside of business hours.

Own Brand Drugs

You can now create Own Brand Drugs (OBD) that will be available during the dispensing process.

To manage OBD’s navigate to Administration> Own Brand Drugs.

Use the Drug search field to lookup existing OBD’s. To display a list of all own brand drug records, leave the search field blank and press the search icon.

Supplier and Supplier PDE configuration

You are now able to configure Primary and Secondary stock suppliers as well as supplier PDE numbers within Fred Dispense Plus.

End User Licence Agreement

After each Fred Dispense Plus update, the End User Licence Agreement now displays and must be accepted to open Fred Dispense Plus.

Fixes

Wait screen Focus

An issue where the focus would be lost after changing initials while completing a script has been fixed.

Pricing when performing a generic substitution on a repeat

Fixed an issue where the price would fail to re-calculate after performing a generic substitution on a private repeat.

Drug usage report - Question mark item

Fixed an issue where the usage for question mark items could be incorrect.

Missing initials on dispense label

Under an unusual circumstance, only the dispenser initials and not the responsible pharmacist initials would print on the dispense label.

Continued Dispensing Notice

In some cases, an incorrect AHPRA number would print on the Continued Dispensing Notice, this has now been fixed.

Reactivate inactive prescriber

Fixed an issue where an inactive prescriber could not be reactivated.

QuickPad with question mark items (NXT Office only)

Opening the QuickPad after dispensing a question mark item now loads the current item automatically as expected.

Question mark dispense and set prices (Fred Office only)

Fixed an issue where changing the quantity would result in the set price being ignored.
